Vehicle Barriers and Bollards (Design and Production)

The scope of work included replacement of the existing flexible hydraulic hose to stainless steel 316L tubing for hydraulic bollards and 2 NOS of hydraulic power units (HPU), upgrading and refurbish of hydraulic bollards access boxes for new tubing connection. Subcontractor was engaged for underground cable detection, demolition, excavation and construction of trench to contain hydraulic lines and bollards. Local registered PE was also engaged to endorse as built drawings.

Advanced finite element analysis and field test ensured the developed ground fixed bollards to satisfy K4 impact condition with 6.8Ton impact load and 50km/h impact speed.
